Being Productive

You can easily get things done by having focus, plans and prayers.

Do you want to be productive? It's a yes for me.

In today's world, almost everything you see is a distraction, and we have to manage this, or else, you will never get the results you need or outcome you've been wanting.

This quote is from a movie, it goes something like "In life, you make choices or decisions, but if you fail to get it right, your choices or decisions will make you."

For me it will be a good habit to be productive. If you choose to be unproductive, specially for your work, be ready for negative outcomes. You become more stressed and tired. You won't enjoy what you are doing. You'll never get the momentum that your job requires you. It will make you, most of the time, it will make you miserable. And we don't want that to happen.

The best quadrant is the quadrant of The Zone, the task is important but not urgent. That's where we have to stay. Please never be in the quadrant of Illusion (urgent but not important) and quadrant of Escape (not urgent and not important). I think, sometimes, it's inevitable to be in the quadrant of Demand (urgent and important), but I believe we can do something about it and put most of our time in the quadrant of The Zone! Let's play this game and level up in real life!

It has been said that being highly productive is not an inborn talent, it’s simply a matter of planning and organizing your tasks so that you can efficiently get the right things done. From my experiences, prayers also makes me more productive. For example, in the office, when I pray, it feels like I am focused on my work, everything is lighter, it feels like someone is helping me to achieve my goals for the day. I'm so glad. Being productive everyday is such a great feeling. I sense a good and bright future.

I remember this Bible quote:

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 16 

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

My Wound is Taking Too Long To Heal

Alright, so this post isn't about a wounded heart, love or romance. It is about literal wound. Who says yuck? Everyone got wounded, right? I have a wound on my right feet. It is taking too long to heal. And do you know what's wonderful? God put me into a situation where this wound must heal.

Jesus can heal everyone and everything. :)

Work Is Essential To Life

This time I want to share something about “work”. Keep on reading, enjoy!

Jesus worked as a carpenter.

Work is essential to life. You were created to work and not to be idle. You are not a tree, you can move, speak or think. Imagine a life without work. It is so boring. There are no adventures. You are unproductive. In this world, there is always something “good” to do. Do not be averted by distractions. Many people today wonder why they seemed like they are not achieving something and tell themselves that they are just nothing, untalented, or fearful about doing something.

It is said in the Bible that those who are unwilling to work shall not eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12). We are designed to work. So you should work for yourself to live or for those people you love like your family. All you have to do is to be willing to work and pray so that God will improve your skill and even give you more skills needed for your work (Exodus 31:2-11,Exodus 35:30-35). Try to convince yourself. Think about your future. Think about your dreams, the people you love, your special someone and of course God. Work is a gift from God (Ecclesiastes 3:12-13), so whatever your work is, work hard, work smart and do your best at it. Hard work brings us advantage in life (Proverbs 14:23).

Since working hard helps us achieve our goal in life, it can make us happy. It is rewarding (Proverbs 12:14). Do you ever feel so happy when your work has been appreciated? I do. It is very rewarding. Someone appreciated and complemented my hard work and it seemed like all my stress and tiredness is gone. But always remember that you are not working for approval, appreciation or complement. You are working for it is a commandment from God. We are going to please Him.

As time passes, you will have a “work experience”. If you did your best, worked wisely and diligently, you will be skilled or competent. You will be sought by people (proverbs 22:29). It means that you can serve God more because people will see that a worker of God is doing a great work. We will be able to attract more people to let them know more about God.

All these means is that work can make us happy and feel blessed by God.

We are blessed

Some people don’t realize it. We are blessed. We are all blessed, we are very special to His eyes. We are so loved. Even if you refuse to this idea. You are blessed. You are loved, we are loved by God.

Yes, we are. :)

How?

Do you breathe? You are reading this, right? You are using a computer while you are reading this. Can you feel something? Can you think of something? Can you see the stars and the moon? Can you feel the breeze? Can you feel the warmth of the sun?

See how talented you are? You can DO SOMETHING. And I believe that you can do more than that.

Do not believe that you are nothing. With God, you will be empowered. We can do something. We can do good things that will contribute for the goodness of everyone. For strengthening souls. For improving lives. For inspiring someone… and most of all, for making God’s name the highest!

This post is not enough to state what God offers us that the world cannot. We often see what the world can offer us. At the same time, there are offers by God that we often neglect. The worst, we refuse to it.

Which means, we are defying God’s blessings.

This is my first post. I created this blog for our Almighty God who created the heavens and earth. His love is eternal. He has unlimited power. He can make us feel better everyday. Just have faith.
